A branded podcast initiative that turns sustainability into an engaging audio experience—amplifying Intesa Sanpaolo’s ESG vision across countries with generative AI and narrative journalism.

THE CHALLENGE
Position Intesa Sanpaolo ISBD as a global ESG thought leader by transforming technical ESG content into accessible, engaging narratives. The objective was to create a scalable, multi-country communication format that would:
- Make ESG concepts understandable and relevant across cultural contexts
- Engage stakeholders emotionally, not just intellectually
- Align internal and external messaging under the "Every Step Counts" platform
- Enable rapid content localization at scale.
THE IDEA
We created "Impatto", a serialized branded podcast that narrates ESG impact stories across the Group’s ecosystem. Developed with VoxFlow, a proprietary AI-powered audio platform, the format blends:
- Generative audio synthesis tailored to different languages and audiences
- Narrative journalism, with a tone inspired by Il Postand Will
- High-end sound design and custom scripting
The editorial voice—journalist and writer Giulia Blasi—guides listeners through complex ESG topics via compelling human stories, data insights, and real-world business cases.

FROM ESG STRATEGY TO SOUNDWAVES
The project began with a pilot—4 editorially-rich episodes focused on awareness. Based on its success, the roadmap expanded into 10+ episodes, grouped across the funnel:
- Awareness: Framing ESG topics through macro lenses
- Consideration: Featuring Intesa Sanpaolo’s ESG initiatives and commitments
- Retention: Sharing success stories and case studies from real deals.
All content was deployed through the “Our World” section on the Group’s country websites and Spotify-branded playlists.
Using VoxFlow, Intesa Sanpaolo was able to:
- Transform dense ESG reports, interviews, and research into listenable scripts;
- Generate personalized audio for different countries and professional roles;
- Maintain editorial consistency while accelerating production cycles;
- Guarantee full quality control on content and tone.
