A spectacular urban installation at the iconic Gasometro in Turin: an open-air, giant playable screen where the unmistakable PlayStation symbols (Circle, Square, Triangle, Cross) rained down the structure. Anyone walking by could stop and play live — turning a historic industrial landmark into an unexpected gaming playground. Because Play is Everywhere. Because the spirit of play knows no boundaries — it can happen in any place, in any way.
THE CHALLENGE
Create a bold, high-impact urban activation that brings PlayStation beyond the console and into the streets — engaging both gamers and a broader audience. The goal: make play accessible, visual, and shareable in an unexpected public space. Show that Play is Everywhere — because when play has no limits, it can transform any space, any moment, into an opportunity for fun.
THE IDEA
We transformed Turin’s Gasometro — a historic industrial site — into a giant, interactive arcade. A playable screen displayed the legendary PlayStation symbols cascading down, while a simple arcade controller invited anyone passing by to jump in and play. An immediate, joyful, and visually iconic experience — a perfect example of how play can break boundaries and appear where no one expects it.
